MRA Services

MRA stands for “Magnetic Resonance Angiography.” This is a type of MRI scan that takes pictures of the blood vessels in the body. In some cases, we will give you contrast through an arm vein, to make the blood vessels brighter and easier to see. In the past, many of these studies required an invasive catheter angiogram, with its associated risks. MR angiography has proven to be a safe and reliable alternative to invasive angiography. We are now performing MRA scans of the head, neck, chest, abdomen, and pelvis.
