This patient presented with dizziness and nausea, and her physician ordered an MRI scan. This axial FSE T2-weighted image of brain reveals marked abnormal signal in the right cerebellar hemisphere (arrow), in the vascular territory supplied by the posterior inferior cerebellar artery (PICA). This is diagnostic of a stroke. The patient was treated appropriately, and did well.
